Endangered Wolf Has 'Turkey Baster' Cubs

For the first time in a Korean zoo, a wild animal has given birth after artificial insemination.

Seoul Grand Park announced Thursday a wild timber wolf was artificially inseminated and gave birth to five healthy puppies last Sunday after 15 hours of labor. The endangered animal, which lives in the forests of North America, Europe and Asia and is also known as the gray wolf, is an internationally protected species.
